Silicone oil is the diluent of RTV silicone. It can be added up to 20%.
Its advantages:
- allows to obtain a more flexible material facilitating demolding
- Limits the formation of bubbles.

very useful for facilitating the casting of soft lures in the mussels in resin . This avoids having to use an injector, and to flow by gravity only (example: Martoger shad, shiny, etc.)
