MELTING POT 10 KG
MELTING POT 10 KG
This melting pot of a power of 700 watts can melt 10 kg of lead in 20 minutes. A thermostat adjusts the heating temperature. The casting valve, located 10 cm above the base, allows the lead flow setting. The apparatus comes with a 3-wire power cord that will require the mounting at its end of a plug that respects the NF C 15-100 standard to connect to a current in 220 volts. Guaranteed 2 years.

- Add lead (avoid too dirty leads) and let melt 20 minutes
- Operate the lever from bottom to top, and a lead fillet will flow vertically
User manual of the melting pot
The advantages of the melting pot with respect to a classic saucepan or a torch are considerable!:
1 / Security : The product is stable. Number of fishermen who heated lead in pans have made the painful experience of the pan handle that gives up under weight and molten lead stretching on the work plan of the workshop, on the floor or in the kitchen! Not to mention the afferent brushes !!
2 / security : The melting pot is thermostatic. The thermostat set to the 5/6 value it is 350 ° C. The melting temperature of the lead is 327 ° C. (boiling point 1740 ° C, volatilized from 500 ° C)
When heated with a non-mastered means (gas stove, torch, bunzen spout, etc.) The temperature that exceeds 500 ° C in certain points, temperatures at which the toxic gas vapors of the lead are unmixed.
Thanks to the thermostat of the fusion pot we avoid this disadvantage
3 / Quality : With the melting pot the bottom lead and the impurities contained in the leads of lead used in general, supernage, and one flows only clean lead in the plumb molds.
4 / quality : the melting pot flows a 3 mm diameter lead fillet, which allows some plants of great precision, impossible to do with a ladle
