Manufacture of a flexible lure

Method of making a soft lures plastisol

WARNING

The preparation and heating of the plastilor generates abundant and irritating smoke. It is strongly recommended to protect yourself by a mask and operate in a very ventilated room or outdoors.

1 - preparation of the dough

Pour the plastilor into a pan placed on a gas fire, an electric stove or even a microwave. Plitter a minimum of 1 cm thick to later shake the whole.

2 - plastilor Heating

Heating by stirring the plastilor until the liquid becomes transparent.

3 - Added colorant

Add dropwise to dose the mixture while waving.

4 - added ilarm powder

Shake down to distribute the powder until iridescent trails in the liquid.

5 - adding sequins

It is advisable to mix several glitter colors for more efficient reflections.

6 - molding

Carefully pour the mixture into the mold By finishing with a slight curved on the top because there is always a retraction of the plastilor during cooling.

7 - inserting a rattle

This optional operation is to be made while the plastileur is still liquid.

8 - demouling

After allowing a few minutes to cool, prepare demolding by removing the edges to take off the lure of the mold.

9 - cooling

Immerse the lukewarm lure in cold water to accelerate cooling and stiffening.

10 - ebbing

Embarring finish of scissor.

11 - mounting

Mount on leaded head. Finish with a cyano glue point between the head of the lure and the leaded head.
