CLASSIC PLASTILEUR
CLASSIC PLASTILEUR
The Plastileurre® (liquid plastic for soft lures) is a liquid plastic (or plastisol) designed to make your flexible lures by casting in a mold. Expanded by Bricoleurre Since its creation in 2007, it has experienced several developments to better resist heat yellowing and reduce the smell during heating. Very transparent, it quickly evacuates the air bubbles that can form during an overwhelming agitation.

Plastileur hardness by type of fishing
Soft:
The most flexible version for Worms and slugs and vertical freshwater fisheries. Brings a very wavy swimming to the lures even with the most sensitive animations.
Standard:
Used mainly for shades, requiring a strong vibration of the paddle. Also used for the sea.
Rigid:
Higher hardness, used mainly at sea. With wind, depth and current it is necessary to grammer advantage and lure swims faster while emitting vibrations. If the lure is too flexible swimming arrives at saturation.
Additives:
- Fabric softener and Super rigidYou can adapt your lures and create the exact rigidity sought.
- Salt for soft lures makes your lure naturally flowing.
- The hollow glass micro-balloons (lightweight) Conversely renders your soft lures floating, even once armed.
Use and working temperature
The use is simple: with a microwave or saucepan (recommended microwave) you will mount the plastilor ® temperature up to about 150-160 ° C.
At this homogeneous temperature, the plastic becomes transparent and you can incorporate your sequins and dyes (and additive if needed). You mix to get the desired color and you put it back on a few seconds (5 to 10sc) before pouring into your mold.
You wait a few minutes before demolding and you can put the lure in the cold water so that it finds its final shape.
The plastilor ® can withstand up to 200 ° C before yellowing completely. However, it is not recommended to too much ride in temperature. At around 150 ° C the dyes and glitter retain 100% of their properties.
Security
For security reasons, it is recommended to use a mask and protective gloves, glasses and wear long sleeves. It is recommended to work in a ventilated or outdoor space.
Practical advice and storage
It is recommended to use your plastileur ® in a dry place. The worst enemy of plastisol being moisture, its quality could be degraded. Between each use you have to close your bottle or can. Shake well before each use so that plastisol components mix with each other.
